Celestial Park is a 4-acre park located on Celestial Road at Bellbrook Drive. Parking is available on Celestial Drive.
Quorum Park is located on the west side of Quorum Drive between Westgrove and Keller Springs. Limited parking is available on the street.
Bosque Park is located in the Addison Circle District between Morris Avenue and Addison Circle Drive.
Parkview Park is located within walking distance from Bosque Park, to the north off of Quorum Drive.
Arapaho Pedestrian Trail is a half-mile trail that begins at the corner of Arapaho and Addison Road. It is easily accessible from the parking lot located at the NW corner across from Perry’s.
When the first DFW In-N-Out locations opened in May, people camped out overnight and even stood in the rain. Not me. After all, they are going to stay open and more locations will pop up over time. Unless my hamburger can do this, there is no reason for me to marinate in rainwater or lose sleep. Now that the hype has died down, I was ready to give it a try.
I’m sure your New Year’s resolution is off to a great start (cut to me eating Whataburger at 11:00 last night). So why not keep up the momentum by participating in the Hotcake Hustle 5/10K benefiting Addison Midday Rotary Club and Contact Crisis Line. If you’re not quite that athletic, there’s also a 1K fun run/walk. You provide the hustle and they’ll provide the hotcakes from The Original House of Pancakes at the end of the race.
I can not believe it’s been two months since I’ve blogged! I must admit that my creative juices ran completely dry. Just like a clearance-priced dried-out loaf of bread at the store , I was ready to crumble. But I’m happy to report that I am feeling more creative these days. I’m sure that all the readers (all 10 of you..i.e. my immediate family) are happy I’m blogging again. Now on to the review…
